Effects of Freezing in the Eye

Abstract
|
|
|
The results of 8 cases of herpes simplex keratitis and one case of corneolenticular adhesion caused by explosion wound treated by cryogenic instrument (amoils cryo unit) are presented.
The cryoapplicator (2mm in diameter) were applied on the lesion for 7-15 seconds. (temperature: -50°C70´C).
One of herpes simplex keratitis patients was suffered from redness of the lids following cryotherapy for 3 days.
